Born in Poland and brought up under the German occupation. At the age of fteen he was already an active member of the underground resistance. Captured by the new enemy, the Russians, he was saved by a rescue operation mounted by partisan friends.

Sergiusz was transferred by a clandestine organization to the free West, and settled in England.
He studied paintings at St. Martin’s School of Art.

Over many years Sergiusz has developed his own, very unique style, always using clas sical forms and proportions, and based on division of backgrounds by projection of lines derived from subjects drawn.

The combination of imaginative colouring with a prismatic assemblage produces highly original, dynamic and decorative e ects. Sergiusz has named this the ‘PrismaticStyle’.
