Pauline Rafal
Pauline Rafal, a graduate of BA (Hons) Book Arts and Design at London College of Communication, develops pen and ink drawings, linocuts, and polymer prints displayed either as individual artworks, or as artist’s books. Her works are inspired by poetry and music, as well as themes based around memories and the experience of change.
Pauline also undertakes commissions for bespoke design, and in this field has developed jewellery displays for London Fashion Week and the Goldsmiths’ Fair (commissioned by fine art jeweller Ornella Iannuzzi), a one-off book commissioned by the Concordia Foundation as a gift to the Lord Mayor of the City of London, and a unique, one-off CD display box commissioned by pianist Annie Yim as a gift to the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers, among other projects.
