Stefan Stachowicz is an artist exploring the colours and textures of pigment to probe and express the deeper levels of human consciousness, the wonders of the cosmos and metaphysics. His works, through colour intensities and vibrations, express spatial depth, as if creating a world of their own.
Stefan came to London after World War II as a young man to join his father. He studied art under prof. Marian Bohusz-Szyszko at the Polish University in London.
He received his Art diploma in 1964 and joined APA. A year later he joined the International Association of Arts at UNESCO in Paris.
From 1988, he spent eleven years in California. Now he lives in London, painting and writing poetry.
He exhibited in various West End galleries. His work is in numerous collections overseas.
