Agata Peksa was born in Krakow, Poland. In 1987-1992 she studied at the Institute of Art Education at the Higher School of Pedagogy in Krakow and received her MA at the Faculty of Painting under Professor Irena Popiolek in 1992.

Agata is based in London where she studied computer graphics & design. She mainly works in acrylics. Her canvases re ect a process of thought - through human gures she is telling a story about herself, about others, about life.

In 2001 she joined The Association of Polish Artists in Great Britain (APA) and regularly shows her paintings at APA’s annual exhibitions in the POSK Gallery in London.
